The "Mayor of Realville" is living in the Twilight Zone. He says suspended Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston will get a standing ovation from all the students when he returns to play, for "pushing the envelope." According to Marchant.com, here is what Mr. Jameis did. He got up on a table in the middle of FSU's student union and yelled, "F*ck Her Right In The P*#%Y." This an internet meme, apparently, and not the first time Heisman Award winner Winston has been in trouble. He faces allegations of rape, into which FSU recently reopened their investigation after the Department of Education accused them of ignoring the female student's Title IX rights. I hope no one told him when it comes to sexual consent, no can sometimes mean yes, "if you know how to spot it."
If Mr. Winston gets a standing ovation upon his return to play, (I hope) it will be for recognizing what he did was wrong and apologizing for it, something Mr. Limbaugh is loathe to do. Here is what Mr. Winston said at his press conference:
First of all I want to apologize to the university, to my coaches and to my teammates. I'm not a 'me' person but in that situation it was a selfish act and that's not how you do things around here. I really want to apologize to my teammates, because I've done a selfish act.
Rush Limbaugh is living in the past, and just can't stop himself. His "Vagina Justice Monologue," is another example of his deep disrespect for women. And advertisers agree it is despicable and abhorrent; over 3,000 have left and given us a statement they are redirecting ads, thank us for heads up often. Many others just quietly slip away. Fine with us, so long as they go! Remember when his show was chock full of blue chips?
